SO BIG

Deron is getting so big and the time is going way to fast. We took him to the zoo one day. He loved the monkeys because they were moving and he could see them. The cougar was moving so he was able to see that too. He smiled every time it came our direction. The other picture is the bats that are in a green house and are free. It was a little wierd to walk under them. We only got two pictures because the battery to our camera died. Yes what a horrible mom I am not prepaired with a charged battery. We had a great time and of course Deron fell asleep.

Growing up so fast!

Deron is 5 months old. I can not believe that he is that old. He is getting so big! well not really but just getting older. He does weigh 15 pounds and he was 25 in long at his 4 month appt. (75%). Wow I can't believe that I can have a kid that is in the 75% group for height. He loves baby food I have given him squash, sweet potatoes, pears, and apples. He has loved them all and has no problems eating them. He has rolled over twice and is not even close to sitting up. He does love to stand and see what is going on. He is reaching for things and getting a lot better at grabbing them the first time. He found out how to spit and have tons of slobber. He is so cute and is a very happy baby!

Vacation

We decided to take a trip down to St. George before we both started school this semester. We went down thursday and came back on sunday it was nice to get away and relax. We went and stayed at my dad's house and took both the dogs. It was a full house with four dogs and a baby. Blake went golfing a few times and of course I went shopping. We said hi to Blake's grandpa and his wife one day. Deron did great in the car he did sleep most of the way. We had to stop and feed him but he fell right back asleep. He did struggle to go down for some of his naps but I think he did not want to miss out on any of the fun. We had a great vacation!

Deron loves his pups! Kita was so good to let him relax and lay on her.


He is getting so big and reaching for things now. He was loving this water bottle and putting his mouth on the top. Though it is nice to see something else in his mouth besides his hands. It is so fun to watch him figure things out!

Bald Spot

Okay so Deron is 4 months old and his bald spot keeps getting bigger. It is worse now because he is also losing the hair on his sides and on top but below his ears and below his bald spot are still intact. We are going to have a baby that has an old mans hair line. He is still soooo cute!

Hiking

Deron and I went hiking to Bell's Canyon one morning with some of my family. It was a long hike but it was fun. Deron did pretty good he fell asleep on the way up the mountain and on the way down. He did get fussy on the way down because it was pretty steep and rocky and his head was bouncing around a little. It was a fun day and I would like to thank Chace he was the one that carried Deron. There was no way I would have been able to carry him.

Having Fun

We put him in the "jumper" to see what he would do and he loved it. He really liked it when the dogs would run past him and make him spin. He loved being able to touch his feet on the floor and not have his brace on. This will be his new toy.


Hanging out on dad!

We are going to have to keep an eye on him already. When I walked out of the room he was on the mat playing and this is where he was when I checked on him. It was maybe ten minutes that I was out of the room! He puts the bar into the ground and lifts his body and moves.

I set him on the couch with Zoie so I could go into the kitchen for a minute. I cam eback and this is how they were sitting. I did not move his arm on top of Zoie it was already there. He loves the pups. When they are playing around him he is smiling and staring at them.

We went to the Kearns pool for Jaxson's birthday a few weeks ago. Deron did good I held him so he could walk in the kids pool and that is all he did. He was moving his feet and was loving it. He had so much fun that he fell asleep on his uncle Kelley.

Blessing

We blessed Deron and had our family over for a bite after. He was blessed by Blake's grandpa and it was a great blessing. Deron is getting so big and accomplishing so much. He has to wear his brace just until the first week of August then he just has to wear it at night when he sleeps. We can't wait to play with him with it off. I am sure he is more excited to be able to take it off.
