The 4th

We went the Murray Parade in the morning. Deron was unsure of it at times but was not scared of the loud noises. He would get scared when people on bikes, skateboards, or anything that moved, would be coming right for us. That would be the only time he would cry. After the parade we went home and relaxed for most of the day.
Then for dinner and fireworks we went to Chantell's and Scott's, since there house is right by murray park it is great seating with no crowds. We BBQ then went and did our own fireworks though every where in thier neighborhood people were setting off the now legal fireworks. Deron loved the little ones we did, it was hard for him to focus and look in the right direction of the sky ones. We then roasted marshmellows, yes I know crazy but my family loves them and will use any excuse to roast them. Then we watched the Murray fireworks. By this time Deron was so tired he did not have any expression the whole time during fireworks.
We had a great 4th! Thanks to everyone that participated.

The Aquarium

I just found these pictures and forgot that I had not posted this adventure. Chantell, my mom, and I took our kids to the Aquarium when it was colder outside. Deron loved it here. He loved the fish from UTAH. When we were watching the penguins he was to busy "kid watching" when a penguin swam right in front him he did not even look. Kieger loved the penguins and did not want to look away! They both loved it!

CAMPING

We were able to go to Jordanelle for a weekend with my family. All of us kids were able to go so the whole family was there. We shared the tent trailer with Chantell, Scott, and Kieger. It was interesting to have both kiddos in the same trailer for the night.

He was sitting in his chair and acting like a block was a phone.
Playing cards

His favorite thing to do was throw rocks into the water. Every time he saw the water he started whinnig and pointing.

Garden

Okay I attempted my first garden this year. I do not know what I am doing so I am winging everything. I planted a few too many peas and tomatoe plants but I wanted some extra incase some did not make it. Next year I will have a better concept of how many we will need. I have not been the best at watering but Blake is always there to help or remind me. It was a lot of work to get it ready, thanks to my dad for coming and tilling it! Thanks to Scott for answering all my questions and all the advice! Last thanks to Blake to for watering it when I am at work!

Then waiting has been very hard. I just wanted to see if anything was going to grow. Then the peas came up and I felt a little successful. Well today I was out there and I found our first tomatoe! I was so excited I called Blake and let him know. He did not show my enthusiasm but oh well. I am still hoping my carrots and watermelon will come up, but it has been awhile so I don't think they made it. We will just have to keep waiting.

Our first Tomatoe, how cute!

All the tomatoe plants

The green peppers. I am trying to save the red peppers, so cross your fingers.

Our cuccumber plant

The peas, I don't know what we are going to do with all of them.
