So Deron was born with a club foot which means that the foot is turned inward and he would not be able to put any weight on it. We took him to see an Orthopedic Doctor and they told us they would need to cast his foot. The process of the treatment is they put a new cast on his leg everyweek. They strech the foot everyweek til it becomes in the normal position. When it getsto the normal position they clip his achilles tendon(done with a local anethesia) so the foot is even and the heal will be in the right position. Then they cast his foot one last time and leave that cast on for a few weeks. He will have a series of 5-6 casts depending on how fast the foot turns. After the casts are done he will have to wear a brace on both feet that has a bar to hold his foot in place. He will have to wear the brace all the time for 3 months. Then he will have to wear it while he sleeps until he is 4 years old. We already got the first cast and go every monday to get the new ones. I will say that it was pretty emotional to watch them cast his foot. He did cry and that is rare for him. He really only cries when he is hungry or needs a diaper changed. He struggled not being able to straighten his leg or move it like he wanted to. He seems to be used to the cast. He is a trooper!

Deron Jon Dellinger
Okay now for the fun update. We got an early suprise and our son came two weeks early. It was a surpise and maybe a little to early. It was thursday and Blake had strated to redo our frontroom window ledge. We did not have anything ready. I was going to do all of Deron's wash and get the room cleaned that weekend. I started to get another round of heartburn. Nothing helped to calm the pain down. Finally around 3 am on friday morning I told blake that we needed to go into the hospital. We did not think we were going to stay so we did not take anything. We got there and my blood pressure was high so they decided to keep me. Well to make a long story short I delivered at 2 pm on friday. I had very low platelets (how your blood clots), and due to my high blood pressure and a drug they had to put me on we had to stay an extra day until monday. Everything is fine and we are home and doing good. His name is Deron Jon and he weighed 6lbs and 11 oz and was 20 in long. He was born with a club foot (I will explain in a later post). He will be fine. Here are some pictures enjoy. I do have to say he is so cute!!!
Late Update
I want to post my maternity pictures because my friend Katherine did such a good job. They were taken about 1 month ago and I just have not had time to post them.

EXCITED
Well I should be doing homework right now but really I am sick of it. All I can think about is that we are going to be parents in 10 weeks! I am starting to freak out becuase there is so much to do and realizing so little time. I barely get through the week of school work and have to start another week. BLake asked me one day if I was done with my homework for the day and my reply was "I won't be done unitl the semester is over." This is no lie since I can work ahead in my work and that is what I am trying to do since our due date is the last week of school and I want to be prepared. I am also so excited for everyone that is pregnant! It feels like the whole world which is great because I can't wait for my son to have all the playmates and friends! Well I also wanted ot say how much I love my friend Liz she is an amazing person and mom. I am so happy that her daughter's liver transplant went good and Lulu is doing very good post transplant. If you have not looked at her blog you should there is a connection from mine it is LULU. That little girl is amazing and so cute. Just thought I would do a quick update and take a break from school but really I need to get back to it.

THE HOUSE
Well we have been pretty busy lately with school, work, pregnancy sickness, and the house we have not had any time to do anything. I thought that since school starts up tomorrow again and this semester it crazy I needed to update this blog. Well we are having a baby boy and very excited. Blake took a promotion and is the manager over the warehouse at the Jordan Landing Best Buy. In between all of the craziness my dear husband finished the basement. I was so sick from the pregnancy all I had energy to do was go to work and school. He did all the work on his own and with help from experts that would come over and help on thier own time. It was a long process but it is finally done. Thaks to everyone that did come over and lend a helping hand We could not have done it with out you! Here are some pictures of the basement. Some are of the surround sound that is Blake's pride and joy!
HOLIDAYS
The holidays were great this year. I went to St. George for Thanksgiving with my sister and brothers (Blake of course had to work the day after so he could not come). It was fun even though I missed my husband tons. It was so nice to relax and not worry aobut doing anything. Even though I had to take care of our two daogs and make sure Kita did not get into any trouble. (She is a handful and likes to test the boundaries with us). It was also nice to go and see my dad and step mom they are always so welcoming. We did go shooting but since I am pregnant I wa a little scarred about shooting the bigger guns so I just shot the hand guns and just took pictures. It was great weekend of food and football what else could you ask for? (Well for my husband to be there!)
Then for christmas we just hung out with our families. Bryce called on christmas so that was exciting to talk to him. I can not beleive that he comes home in 6 months it is crazy. He is doing so good and would probabally like to stay out there longer. I did have to work on christmas night but not a bad shift.

Blake on chrsitmas. I thought everyone would enjoy a good angle of Chace's butt! whoops.
