Hanging out

We had Scott, Chantell, and Kieger come over one night to just hang out. It was great to have them over. Deron loves to see any of his cousins. He tries to attack them and always wants to see them. Kieger is so cute and such a good baby. He was so calm and just layed there.

This is when he saw Kieger and started to crawl over to him.

He loves the camera and knows just what to do.

NO HANDS

This is how he was eating off his highchair. He would not pick anything up with his hands. If I held any food in my hand he would put his mouth to my hand and try to eat it. I would try and make him pick it up with his hands so he could learn the right way. Well he seldom eats without his hands anymore. It was cute while it lasted.

USING HIS HANDS



He found the dog door and was playing with it. He had fun just pushing the door and putting his hand through it. He would laugh everytime he pushed it. Blake and I had to make sure that Kita and Zoie were in the house so they would not try and come through the door when he was laying right there.

I love bathtime

Deron loves to get in the bath. When he sees me pull everything out for the bath he starts screaming and smiling. He loves to splash the water and play with the bubbles. Kita always comes in to watch. Deron loves this. Everytime he looks up and sees Kita he starts laughing and reaching for her. He has started figuring out how to crawl in the tub so he can reach everything. He could stay in the bath for ever if I let him. Everytime I get him out he starts to cry and throw a fit but his hands are like prunes.

New Trick

So Deron found out he can crawl to the clothes hamper and pull himself up. When he did this he started pulling the clothes out and on the floor. I would just pick up the clothes on the floor and fold them. Too bad he doesn't understand that I need them and he won't give them to me. Oh well it occupies him and makes him happy, until they are all folded and put away.

Sleeping

I went into his room to wake him up one day and this is what I found. He has to go to bed with that bear. When we lay him down he is turning and reaching to try and get it in his arms. I loved that it had not moved since I put him down. We love this kid so much, but how could you not?

New Cousin

My sister had her baby on Dec. 27th. He came 4 days late. They named him Kieger, pronounced kiger. He is so cute and really good. He did not cry until they were moving from the L&D room up to thier maternity room. My sister was a little nervous because after he was born she could not hear anything, the nurse had to tell her he was fine.
It is so fun to have another baby in the family. I forgot how light and content babies are. They don't care about anything as long as they are getting fed and changed. Deron got an ear infection and a cold the night he was born so they have not been right next to eachother. Deron saw me hold him and was reaching for me. (already jealous?) He needs to get use to it since they will be wth eachother monday, tuesday, and wednesday every week due to babysitting. I can't wait to watch him everyweek!



Blake had a cold a few days earlier and did not want to chance getting him sick so that is why he has the fashionable mask on.

Christmas

Where is mine?



Wow this holiday is very different when you have a kid. He is still too young to understand what is going on. He did know what to do when he saw a present. It took him awhile to tear the wrapping but he liked it. He is starting to smile at the camera when he sees it, even if we are not ready to take a picutre. He starts to smile and the starts to squint his eyes and laughs. It is so cute. We went over to Blake's dads house on Christmas eve had dinner and opened presents. Jaxson was so cute and wanted to "help" everyone open thier presents.



We went to my mom's on christmas morning and had breakfast. It was great to see all the little kids have so much fun with eachother. Every year there is at least one more grandkid that is added to the bunch. It was our first year in two years that we did not have to wait for Bryce to call from Australia. It felt a little strange not waiting for that phone call.

We went to Blake's moms house later that day and had dinner and hungout. It was great when Kelley and Josie arrived Jaxson handed me Deron's present and said that he could open it for Deron. I love this little kid and how smart he is! He knows how to get what he wants. It was a great weekend to be with family. It could have been better if we got to see my dad but they wanted to wait until Chantell had her baby to come up. Deron was spoiled, of course and loves all of his toys.
